MINBLOC® HC Antiblocking Additives are produced from a naturally occurring sodium - potassium - aluminum silicate feedstock. A unique and distinctive combination of particle morphology, surface chemistry and refractive index, MINBLOC produces excellent antiblocking performance with minimal impact upon barefoot optical properties. MINBLOC delivers superior haze, gloss and clarity values in packaging grade flexible films without diminishing critical structural or mechanical properties.

MINBLOC® particle size distribution curves are engineered to maximize retention in the 2 to 10 micron range for optimum antiblocking performance. Sequential refining in a proprietary process eliminates coarse particles that degrade film integrity and minimizes retention of <1µ ultra fines that offer no antiblocking functionality. MINBLOC offers the significant advantage of non-reactive, non-absorptive compatibility with process additives to effectively improve the performance of slip, antioxidants, stabilizers, colorants and other processing aids. MINBLOC also operates synergistically with erucamide additives to optimize both slip and antiblock performance for improved production and handling properties. Suitable for either masterbatch compounding or direct additions to the complete range of polyolefin resin systems, MINBLOC morphology facilitates efficient dispersion without the need for surface treatments.
