Due to the excellent adhesive properties of epoxy resins, the release of cast objects from their molds has always been a problem. Many mold release agents are available commercially, however they suffer from some limitations such as ease of handling, efficiency of release and cost.

HIGHTEMP MOLD RELEASE was specifically developed for use with epoxy resins. It is a clear liquid which can either be dipped, sprayed, or wiped on the mold surface. Oftentimes, the treated mold can be reused without additional application of mold release.

In addition to epoxy resins, HIGHTEMP MOLD RELEASE is effective with polyester and vinyl tape resins. Our tests have shown that this release agent gives good results with all the common metals and plastisols used for mold materials.
