GUARD DOG™ UV1164 light stabilizer is a derivative of Triazine that has exceptionally strong and broad-range of UV absorption properties (UVA 315 -400 nm and UB 290 - 314 nm) throughout the UV spectrum. It is a highly efficient UV absorber and is recommended for thermoset plastics and coatings that function as ultraviolet screens for photosensitive substrates

Applications:
It is mainly used in polycarbonate, polystyrene, acrylate, olefin, hydrocarbon etc. It has good compatibility and low volatility and can be used in combination with other UV absorbers. It is used in PE or PP film, tape, Sheet and other resin systems such as Polyamides, PET, ASA, PETG, PMMA, PBT and PC (Cap stock and General purpose)

Recommended Dosage: 0.05 - 1.0 wt. % in the total polymer. Actual loadings need to be determined as application demands.
