GUARD DOG® UV5411 light stabilizer is a derivative of Benzotriazole that has exceptionally strong and broad-range of UV absorption properties throughout the UV spectrum. It is a highly recommended for thermoset plastics, organic substrates and coatings that function as ultraviolet screens for photosensitive substrates. It helps to preserve the original appearance and physical integrity of polymeric systems during outdoor weathering.

Applications: Extremely effective in unsaturated polyesters (0.2 - 0.5 wt. %), PVC, Styrenics, acrylics, polycarbonates, PU (0.2 - 1 wt. %), polyamide (0.2 - 0.5 wt. %) PVB, PMMA, PE and elastomers.

Recommended dosage: 0.1 - 1.0% in general depending on substrate and performance requirements in final applications.
