The addition of PVC processing aids B-23 to rigid PVC formulations is a processing aid based on a high molecular weight polymethacrylate resin. B-23 improves the processability and the performances of PVC formulations.

Performance:

Promotes gelation of PVC, improves hot-melt strength and visco-elasticity, stabilizes the microcells generated by blowing agents to achieve the low density and high strength of the foam. It also increases the surface quality of PVC products.

Better dispersion of additives into PVC, more homogenous melt of PVC, etc.

B-23 has weatherable applications and is widely used in PVC building products.
B-23 is mainly used in PVC profiles, foam pipe, foam profiles, foam sheet, wood composites, etc.
Addition levels for this application are 5-8 phr(PVC 100 phr).
