Resin Modifiers, Acid Modified Low-Molecular-Weight Polyolefin

UMEX products are a series of acid modified low-molecular-weight polyolefin containing a carboxylic anhydride group as the functional group.

These products have a higher degree of modification and lower melt viscosity compared with conventional acid modified polyolefin. Therefore, the reactivity of the products is extremely adaptable to various synthetic resins and inorganic materials. Polyolefin blended with the products excels in dispersibility of both pigments and fillers in resins, readily adheres to other materials, and paint readily adheres to the resulting resin. Moreover, the products are very effective as a modifier for hot melt adhesives and asphalt.
