CARBOMAX®BIO S65LX-HT is a new generation of patented masterbatch produced in pellet form and made of calcium carbonate and a blend of biodegradable and 100% bio-based polymers fulfilling the requirements of the European standard EN 13432.
CARBOMAX®BIO S65LX-HT is certified OK Compost Industrial by TÜV.

The grade of calcium carbonate has been specially developed to be used in the bioplastics made from polyesters in order to promote the prevention of hydrolysis leading to degrade the mechanical properties of the products.
Therefore, it is possible to substantially increase the rate of calcium carbonate in the products made of bioplastics.
This calcium carbonate is renewable according to ISO 14021 and passes compostability test according to EN 13432 (2000), NF T51-800 (2015), ASTM D6400 (2012) & ISO 17088 (2012).

AREAS OF USE
CARBOMAX®BIO S65LX-HT is mainly used for thermoforming and injection.
We recommend a percentage of use between 5 and 50%.
It is mainly used for contact with hot products such as single-use cups, vending cups.
As CARBOMAX®BIO S65LX-HT is very white, it can replace significantly TiO2 in white films. It may also be used as antiblock agent.
