IncroMax™ 300
IncroMax™ 300 is a unique additive designed specifically for Polycarbonate that reduces fricition on the polymer surface at very low addition levels. This leads to a range of product and efficiency improvements, such as increased output rate, slip performance, scratch resistance, as well as reduced processing temperature, and mold release force. It can be used to improve product quality and process efficiency in PC sheet, glazing and injection molding applications.
Mode of Action
IncroMax™ 300 can be dispersed evenly through the polymer in the melt phase. It migrates to the surface of the polymer, where it forms a thin lubrication layer. This layer reduces the coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.
Benefits
- Improved flow during processing (internal lubricant)
- Reduction in processing temperature
- Improved output rate
- Improved mold release
- Reduction of CoF (high slip)
- No impact on optical clarity
- Scratch resistance
Recommended Polymers
- PC
