Applications
Incromold™ F is an internal molding release additive used to improve cycle time and productivity in a variety of polymers. Incromold™ F is suitable for use up to temperatures of around 230 °C.

Mode of Action
Incromold™ F can be dispersed evenly through the poymer in the melt phase. It migrates to the surface of the polymer where it forms a thin lubricating layer. This layer reduces coefficient of friction between surfaces and reduces unwanted adhesion.

Guidelines for Use
Incromold™ F is an internal additive and can be incorporated into resin as supplied or via masterbatch / pre-blend. Experience has shown that simple manual mixing prior to processing will normally give an acceptable dispersion though, mechanical means are preferred.
Typical addition levels are 0.2 - 0.5 % for molding applications.
