Sibelite® M62

Generic Family: Filler / Reinforcement -- Silicon Based Compound -- Silica • Supplied by: Sibelco Specialty Minerals Europe

Sibelite® M62 is produced by thermal treatment of the surface of silica sand M32. The result of this treatment is a very white granular product with low density; M62 is chemically pure and inert. Thanks to the very low angularity of the grains, M62 offers an excellent plasticity in decorative plasters, structural paints. The fissures in the surface and the hardness of the grains give the antiskid-properties in road marking paints.
