A fatty acid metal soap

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION

STRUKTOL® TR 077 is a low melting zinc fatty acid soap (100oC versus 125oC) very similar to zinc stearate. Advantages of the pelletized product over powder are mechanical handling and blending, as well as reduced exposure for improving industrial hygiene. STRUKTOL®TR 077 can be used in all non-clear products where zinc stearate is presently used, such as polystyrene, concentrates, thermosets and some olefins.
