DOVERPHOS® 72

Doverphos 72 is a liquid phosphite having a hydroxyl number of about 380 mgKOH/g. Doverphos 72 can be used as a heat and color stabilizer for several polymers, especially polyurethanes. Due to the hydroxyl functionality, Doverphos 72 can react into the backbone of a polyurethane or polyester. At higher use level (~10%) Doverphos 72 can improve the flame retardancy of polyurethane foam. Use levels of 0.2 to 0.5% are recommended for color stability.
