- Free-flowing granulate consisting of: 29% zinc oxide, 43% magnesium oxide and 28% wetting and dispersing agent.
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION
- STRUKTOL® Zimag 29/43A contains zinc oxide and magnesium oxide in the ratio 2:3. This blend has proven to be optimum for fast cross-linking with increased processing safety.
- STRUKTOL® Zimag 29/43A can be incorporated into chloroprene rubber on the open mill or in the internal mixer at the beginning of the mixing process. The dispersing agent prevents the oxides from sticking to the rolls or the rotors thus eliminating local over-curing or staining in the vulcanizate. The improved dispersion of the oxides achieved by the dispersing agent is particularly valuable for soft chloroprene rubber compounds.
