COMPOSITION

A bi-functional disulfide organosilane for the rubber industry.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATIONS

STRUKTOL® SCA 985 is used to improve the reinforcing capability of fillers with silanol groups on their surface (e.g., silicas, silicates, clays, etc.). STRUKTOL® SCA 985 offers improved scorch safety during mixing due to its disulfide composition. The pastille (PL) form offers ease of incorporation when mill mixing is required.
