RECOMMENDATIONS FOR APPLICATION
- STRUKTOL® WB 42 is a novel processing additive designed for applications in all elastomers including EPDM.
- Being a synergistic blend of fatty acid derivatives with selected polarities, STRUKTOL® WB 42 provides internal as well as external lubrication in a wide range of elastomers, resulting in improved flow, cavity fill, and mold release.
- STRUKTOL® WB 42 improves filler dispersion and has a beneficial influence on batch-to-batch uniformity.
- STRUKTOL® WB 42 is especially suited for applications in extruded compounds, including continuous vulcanization, but also offers advantages with transfer-molding and injection molding.
- STRUKTOL® WB 42 does not affect peroxide cure.
