Octolite 668

Generic Family: Additive -- Antioxidant / Heat Stabilizer • Supplied by: Tiarco Chemical

This emulsion is a highly active multi-purpose antioxidant for all types of latex rubber. It is only slightly staining and virtually non-discoloring. Typical use level in carboxylated SBR adhesives is 0.1 - 0.5 phr providing excellent heat-ageing characteristics. The emulsion is stable over a wide pH range for direct addition to the latex, and has excellent frothability. Octolite 668 exhibits low volatility and is also effective in polychloroprene polymers, providing protection against degradation due to heat, light and oxygen.
