The DF55 series of silicone fluids are 100% crystal clear dimethylpolysiloxane polymers with a viscosity range of 50 - 60,000 centistokes. Their outstanding characteristics are that of inertness, heat stability, oxidation stability, good electrical properties, low pour point and nontoxicity. Some of the general applications are as release and slip agents, additives in rubber and plastics for special surface properties and water repellent treatments.
