BC Sildon 270

Generic Family: Additive -- Slip Agent / Lubricant / Mold Release / Processing Aid -- Silicone-based • Supplied by: Basildon Chemicals

This material is based on a high molecular weight silicone fluid, which gives it a rather soft and tacky consistency. It is recommended for use as a lubricant and seal for rubber ‘O' rings, for valves and taps, particularly under severe conditions of temperature and pressure. It has good durability under these conditions without being too stiff and difficult to handle. BC380S is a Water By-Laws approved product and is produced from F&DA approved materials.
