Sylvaros™ DRS 40
dehydroabietic acid isomers. The extremely low abietic acid content ensures that SYLVAROS® DRS-40 soap is
made from these rosin acids will not interfere with the catalyst-initiator system or polymer chain length during the
polymerization of SBR rubber. When the resultant latex is coagulated by acidification, the free rosins remain in the polymer to impart better tack, higher tensile strength, superior heat resistance, and improved hysteresis
characteristics.
SYLVAROS® DRS-40 is a water-dispersible potassium soap with an electrolyte added to minimize stratification.
