Proaid® AC 18S

PROAID AC 18S is a saturated stearamide primarily used as a surface lubricant in rubber articles and as an antiblock/slip agent in polyolefin films (LDPE and PP). In rubber it will bloom at low loadings (1-2 phr in NBR and CR; 3-5 phr in EPDM) from most elastomers creating a low coefficient of friction on the surface of molded goods. Proaid AC 18S will provide a non-oily, non-greasy lubricating film on exposed rubber surfaces. This material also acts as a process aid in all polymers. Well known as a Hypalon anti-slip, anti-blocking agent.
