Akrochem P-191

P-191 is an unmodified phenol-formaldehyde novolak resin with low residual phenol content. P-191 is a reinforcing resin that, when added to rubber formulations, will increases the compound hardness and strength after curing, while improving the overall processing of the compound prior to cure. It typically is used in combination with a methylene donor such as hexamethylenetetramine, commonly know as hexa.
