KALFLEX 16
Monomeric Plasticizers
Name:
KALFLEX-16 (DINP)
Description:
Di-iso-Nonyl Phthalate (DINP)
Characteristics:
KALFLEX-16 is a primary plasticizer similar to KALFLEX-10 (DOP). Their differences vary according to the increasing molecular weight. It is less volatile, has less power as solvent and less plasticizer effectiveness. As a result, it is adequate to be used in plastisols when formulae with low viscosity and low level of plasticization are required. It is also used with KALFLEX-10 to regulate the final viscosity of plastisols. Additionally, it can be used in high temperature compounds due to its lower volatility.
