Uvasorb® HA700
conditions can be achieved. HALS activity does not relate to absorption of UV radiation. The tetramethylpiperidinyl group is responsible for the stabilization effect. They function mainly as free radical scavengers especially with peroxy radicals.
Uvasorb® HA700 has an excellent solubility in a wide range of organic solvents with different polarities. HALS can be combined effectively either with UV absorbers. Combination usually improves the light stabilization through synergistic effects.
APPLICATIONS:
Uvasorb® HA700 is highly effective with many different kind of binders.
Uvasorb® HA700 may be effective in
- Elastomers
- Adhesives
- Sulfur containing additives such as thioether secondary antioxidants , may reduce the stabilizing activity.
- The presence of pigments may interact with the light stabilization.
