Description:
Zinc organo- metallic sponge activator for foams based on Azodicarbonamide.
Characteristics:
KAB-Z is characterized by a good dispersion in the plastisol. This gives a constant behavior and foam. It is suitable for foaming in oven at 200°C during 2 to 4 minutes. The reduction of the azodicarbonamide decomposition temperature is approximately 25°C, showing a fast gas release. The recommended use concentration is 70 - 80% with regard to the azodicarbonamide used. As it shows a faster action than KAL-BZ and its nucleated power is high, foams of lower density can be developed, even at lower temperatures in oven.
