STEPANPOL PS-2412 is a modified aromatic polyester polyol designed for use in rigid foam applications. Compared to other aromatic polyester polyols, Stepanpol PS-2412 provides enhanced flammability performance and improved B-side emulsion stability.

Applications include polyisocyanurate boardstock blown with HCFC-141b/water (with or without R-22), or blown with hydrocarbons and extender for polyurethane foams. This product can be used for production of polyisocyanurate boardstock meeting industry requirements for commercial roofing and residential sheathing applications. Its high aromatic content contributes to polymer rigidity and heat resistance. As a result of its pure raw material base, this polyol offers low color, low viscosity, and consistent performance.
