Safoam® FPN3 is an endothermic (heat absorbing) chemical nucleating and foaming agent for the creation of a very fine foam structure in thermoplastics. It is a free-flowing, non-dusting powder with excellent dispersion. It has special polymeric surfactants, which reduce cell size in direct-gas applications using hydrocarbon gases, CFC, HCFC, CO2, NO2, or any combination of the above. It can be used for the creation of very fine cells in injection molding and in medium-density extrudate. It can be dispersed into a liquid foaming agents, color compounds and plastisols.
