Safoam® HT-P is an endothermic (heat absorbing) chemical nucleating and foaming agent for the creation of a foam structure in thermoplastic injection molding and extrusion applications. It improves melt flow and creates a closed-cell structure. This free-flowing, non-dusting powder is designed for compounding into polymers that reach decomposition temperature during processing to create medium density extrudate. It can be dispersed into a liquid foaming agent, color compounds and plastisols.
