JJAZZ® 4MA Flame Retardant Performance System is a highly effective FR package utilizing unique amino phosphate flame retardant chemistry that is based on proprietary technology and a synergistic additive, that when combined, allow materials to consistently meet extremely difficult flame test standards such as ASTM E84. This FR Performance System is designed for use in environmentally friendly plastics applications. JJAZZ® 4MA FR Performance System is non-toxic and non-corrosive, offers excellent hydrolytic stability, has superior char forming, maximized heat deflection, low smoke characteristics and is easily works with UV stabilizers. JJAZZ® 4MA FR Performance System does not contain any heavy metal or gaseous halogen by products. The most recognizable feature of the JJAZZ® 4MA FR Performance System is its self-contained catalyst system, thus allowing for an overall lower FR use level and an improved physical property profile to the composition.

Applications:

• Polyolefin plastics where efficiency at lower typical loading levels is a key consideration

• Solvent based coatings, adhesives and paints

• Epoxy Compounds & Composite Materials

• Elastomeric Rubber applications

• In many applications loading levels of 28-30% will achieve UL 94 V0 ratings (1/16" burn bar) and 32-42% to achieve ASTM E84 depending on final formula and base resin or chemistry used.
