Nochek® 4752A Wax Pellets
Protection: Provides static ozone protection through formation of a thin continuous wax layer (bloom) on the surface of the rubber. Microcrystalline structure provides more controlled rate of bloom than straight paraffin structure.
Synergism: Synergistic with p-phenylene diamine (PPD) antidegradants for maximum static and dynamic ozone protection.
Staining: Non-staining. Can be used in white goods.
Cure Effect: No effect.
Typical Uses: Molded and extruded mechanical and automotive rubber goods; agricultural tires; off-road tires; passenger tire white sidewalls; jacketing and insulation for electrical wire and cable. In many applications co-use of one or more chemical antiozonants is implied.
