SLK Silicone series flame retardant is typically developed for thermoplastics to improve the flame retardancy. Silicone has flame retardant effect and flame retardant synergistic effect for halogen-free thermoplastics. It can be used with hydroxide or nitrogen phosphorus series flame retardant to lower the carbon quantity, reduce dripping, and improve the flame retardant properties.

Effect Features:
When used for halogen-free flame retardant thermoplastic materials, improve the flame retardancy, has good synergistic effect with Mg(OH)2 ,Al(OH)3 and Nitrogen phosphorus series flame retardant. When SLK products are applicated for flame retardant systems, adding 10~25% Magnesium stearate (Day method) will achieving better synergistic effect. Meanwhile, SLK flame retardant dosage can be reduced. SLK flame retardant products can used with CaCo3 and K2CO3, etc. Also, for those high-filler materials, good processing properties and surface quality can be expected. Lower the dripping, CO and smoke density when burning. Improve the flame retardant properties.
