C-TEC™ CT-ZHS is a zinc hydroxystannate of high purity and fine particle size and is used as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant in polymers.

APPLICATIONS: C-TEC CT-ZHS is designed to help the formulator achieve high levels of flame retardancy with reduced levels of smoke and carbon monoxide evolution in halogenated and other polymers. They are particularly effective in PVC based wire & cable, rigid film and coatings, and halogenated polyesters. They can also be used as char formers in PE/EVA and epoxy systems.

Typical addition levels of 2-7%.
