Drying additive 3A is based on a zeolite mineral and is available in powder and paste. It is used as drying additive (absorbent) in plastics, coatings and lacquers. A typical application is the treatment of polyurethane formulations with Drying additive, to avoid that residual moisture will react with the isocyanate by forming carbon dioxide gas.
