FR-245 provides for flame retardanting ABS, HIPS, PBT, PC and PC/ABS. It provides high FR efficiency and good thermal stability, UV, impact and flow properties. It gets over the disadvantage of decabromine diphenyl ether yellowing easily and bad-lightfastness. It is an upgraded substitution of decabromine diphenyl ether.
