Antimony trioxide is produced from antimony metal of lead smelting and production. It is a white fine powder and the main crystal structure of cubical shape. When used as a flame retardant, antimony trioxide is often used in combination with halogenated compounds. Antimony trioxide is used as a synergist to enhance the activity of the halogenated flame retardant. Antimony trioxide is used as a flame retardant additive for various types of plastics rubber, textile coating, paint, epoxies, PCB, EMC, glass industry, etc.

ANTROX-GB/GS is widely used as a flame retardant in plastics PVC, PP, PS, Polyester, ABS resin and glass industry as a bubble remover.
