HALLGREEN esters are designed for use in a variety of products anywhere a manufacturer wants to eliminate or reduce the use of hazardous raw materials. HALLGREEN R-8010 is compatible in many new biopolymers, such as PLA, Thermoplastic Starch and environmentally friendly polyesters. HALLGREEN® R-8010 is a 99% USDA Bio certified polymeric ester, which imparts excellent flexibility and low temperature properties to PLA compounds without migration. HALLGREEN R-8010 completely biodegrades within 42 days in accordance with ASTM D5271 and ISO 14851 and therefore be regarded as completely biodegradable under aerobic conditions as stated in ASTM D6400 and EN 13432 / ISO 17088.
