METOLAT 394 is a solvent-free dispersing and wetting agent especially designed for transparent iron oxide pigments in aqueous media. It is ideal for the manufacturing of aqueous coating systems based on polymer solutions and / or polymer emulsions (air dry and forced dry, 2K-systems) as well as for the manufacturing of aqueous resin-free pigment concentrates. METOLAT 394 stabilises dispersed transparent iron oxide pigments and reduces the mill-base viscosity. Gloss, colour development and transparency are improved and reflocculation is prevented.
