Micronized Microsil

Microsil is a crystalline Quartz that is mined by underground and open cast methods, generally in druse fissures pegmatites. After mining, the ore is washed and sorted. Following drying, the ore is further reduced in size and then micronized in a specialised procedure where free iron and other contaminants are removed.

Uses:

Microsil is utilised in applications where a silica with good whiteness, high purity, particle size fineness and hardness are preferred properties.
