BNX® 3052 is a multifunctional antioxidant containing both a hindered phenol and acrylate functionality. This material works by deactivating carbon-centered free radicals formed during thermal processing. It is generally most efficient in oxygen-deficient (i.e. anaerobic) conditions.

Applicatioins: BNX 3052 can be used in a wide variety of thermoplastic, elastomer, and adhesive applications. It is particularly useful for the prevention of gelation in polybutadiene based polymers. It is also useful as for thermal stabilization of HIPS, ABS, SBS, SBR, NR, EPDM, and hydrocarbon resins.
