Avan SCRATCH
It is a technological coating of nanoparticles through a large network of crosslinks formed on the surface of the coating increases the scratch resistance. The synthesis process consists of three steps:
- Stage I:. Oxidation The first step is a mild oxidation that functionalized plastic surface, creating functional groups that self-assemble into organic molecules.
- Stage II. Self-Assembly This technique is based on the formation of covalent bonds between the functionalized surface of the plastic and the bifunctional organic molecules. Plastic surface espontáneamiente covalent bonds between the molecules are formed.
- Stage III: Co-deposition. The inorganic nanoparticles (SiC, BN, alumina, B4C, Si3N4) are co-deposited during the formation of self-assembling network for a permanent coating of high resistance to scratching.
