MAYZO RA-130W
Applications: RA-130W Release Coat is diluted in water to achieve application concentrations. Depending on the substrate and adhesive, the solids concentration should be determined by lab test. Recommended levels are between 2.0-5.0%. Film substrates should be corona treated to ensure adhesion to the substrate. Coat at 4-5 gm/m2 (wet coat weight) using conventional coating methods with Meyer rod, Anilox or Gravure rollers. Coated substrate must be thoroughly dry before rewinding
Advantages:
- Offers an easy peel release. The smooth release properties are similar to PVODC release coatings.
- Cost Efficient. Excellent release can be obtained using as little as 2.0% solids concentration, depending on film, adhesive, coating equipment and desired release levels. The 51-52% solids allow less water to be shipped.
- Low temperature curing.
- A glossy coating
- Can be used with aggressive solvent, hot melt or aqueous acrylic adhesives
