Tenax® chopped carbon fibers have excellent process-ability, resin compatibility, and translation of mechanical and electrical properties. Different grades have been created to optimize chemical compatibility with thermoplastic or thermoset resin types. The standard chopped fiber length is 6mm and is suitable for use in all automatic feeding systems and batch blends. Some grades are available in 3mm, 12mm or 25mm chop lengths.

Milled carbon fibers are un-sized, short lengths, and are suitable for use in all resins and processes. The aspect ratio of milled carbon fibers provides mechanical reinforcement, electrical conductivity and dimensional stability to polymer compounds.
