APPLICATIONS
Ortho-toluenesulfonamide is used primarily as a basic raw material for the production of saccharin. It can also be used as:

Plasticizer in melamine coating and laminating resins

Plasticizer in thermosetting resins

Plasticizer in thermoplastics

Brightener in electroplating formulations

Intermediate in pharmaceutical preparations.
