Mirel 8000 latex is a 55% suspension of semicrystalline Mirel biodegradaeable resin with a particle size is 1-3 um and typical viscosity from 300-500 centipoise. Mirel 8000 coated paper is repulpable, compostable, marine and fresh water degradeable. Mirel 8000 can be coated onto paper using rod, blade, gravure or flexographic coating equipment. Mirel latex can also be used to coat particles as well giving them a hydrophobic surface while being inherently biodegradable. Mirel 8000 can also be used as a binder or resin in ink systems or architectual coatings.
