FG-7000, one of our originally developed carbonate oligomer of tetrabromobisphenol-A, is an addition type flame retardant characterized as below.

Feature

FG-7000 is one of bromine-containing flame retardants excellent in heat resistance.

FG-7000 is a non-blooming type flame retardant.

FG-7000 is particularly effective for use with polyester, polycarbonate and other resins molded at high temperatures.

FG-7000 shows flame retarding effect to a certain degree when used alone, but shows higher effect when combined with an auxiliary compound such as antimony trioxide.

Major Application
FG-7000 is effective for engineering plastics such as PBT or polycarbonate, and for styrene resins including polystyrene and ABS.
