ALCUDIA® HDPE 45060-UV

Generic Family: Polyethylene, High DensitySupplied by: REPSOL
ALCUDIA® 45060UV is a high-density polyethylene copolymer of hexene, with high molecular weight. It is especially designed to make, by blow molding, containers of medium and high capacity for oils and dangerous goods. This grade contains stabilisers according to the end-use of the item in order to reinforce the thermal and light stability.

It has an excellent Environmental Stress Cracking Resistance (ESCR) and impact resistance, so it's recommended to IBC tanks. It is useful for hazardous goods packaging according SKZ test certificate 45833/01

TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
  • IBC tanks
  • High capacity containers
  • Automotive fuel tanks

Recommended melt temperature range from 180 to 210°C. Processing conditions should be optimised for each production line.
