HR-801 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon tackifing resin available in flake form. It is designed as an economical alternative to conventional aromatic resins. HR-801 is a low cost resin which can be used in a variety of rubber compounding applications such as: molded mechanical goods, extrusions, shoe soling, electrical insulation, flooring, etc. It can be used to build tack, increase tensile, increase elongation, reduce flex cracking, reduce cut growth and aid processing of mineral filled elastomers. In addition, this resin is utilized in black loaded compounds as an extender that does not have a detrimental effect on physical properties.
