Slip Aide OB is based on fatty unsaturated straight chains and monocarboxylic acids derived from naturally occurring vegetable oils. It is an excellent slip additive for polyolefins, and functions by migrating to the film surface where they exert a lubricating effect. It provides excellent slip properties for those standard applications, which demand low initial Co-efficient of Friction (CoF). It has excellent migration and develops immediate slip properties. It is often the slip agent of choice for in-line bag converting operations, where a reduced CoF is needed in a short period of time. Because of its faster migration, less amount of Slip Aide OB is normally used.
