- Strong UV absorber which exhibits low color contribution in the polymer. It also has excellent compatibility with a wide variety of polymers.
- Protects polymers from photo-degradation by absorbing UV light before it hits the polymer, which drastically reduces discoloration and slows the decline in physical and mechanical properties of the polymer.
- Shows a marked synergistic effect on weatherability (light stability) when used with HALS (hindered amine light stabilizer).
- Approved as an indirect additive in food contact substances in US and Japan.
