GP-74 is 100% active methylalkylaryl silicone designed to provide good release of molded metal, plastic or rubber parts. GP-74 contains a higher degree of aromatic side chains than many paintable silicone fluids. This property gives better release performance than lower aromatic content silicone fluids in the molding of selected rubber polymers. GP-74 is compatible with most organic coatings and adhesives, allowing subsequent coating of molded parts without unusual surface preparation.
