MAGNIFIN H-10 MV is a high-purity magnesium hydroxide modified with a proprietary surface treatment. Based on a mineral raw material, the patented process guarantees a regular structure of the cristallite.

MAGNIFIN H-10 MV represents a halogen free flame retardant with low smoke emission and high thermal stability up to 340°C. It is recommended for thermoplastic or crosslinked polyolefins and rubber compounds. During decomposition, no toxic or corrosive gases are generated. The surface treatment favours the compatibility between filler and polymer matrix. Processing, mechanical and electrical properties and in many applications, also flame retardancy can be improved significantly.
